It’s time to start thinking about IBM InterConnect 2017, the biggest IBM Cloud event of the year. The premier cloud conference is taking place March 19 – March 23, 2017 in Las Vegas. Though it might seem like a long way off, the call for speakers for InterConnect 2017 is now open and will close on November 11, 2016. Join an audience eager to hear what you have been able to accomplish with IBM Cloud Management Solutions. Submit your proposal now!
Why should you join us at InterConnect? Now in its third year, InterConnect attendees have the opportunity to hear many inspiring stories about digital transformation journeys. You can learn how they to increase agility and eliminate complexity in IT operations by automating day-to-day tasks with IBM Cloud Orchestrator. You can also learn how companies used the IBM Cloud Brokerage platform to assess workloads for cloud readiness and created an IT-as-a-Service model.
Two of my favorite sessions from InterConnect 2016 included:
How KPN Leveraged IBM Cloud Management Solutions for Automation and “Insourcing” of Operations Work. Jan Cruchten of KPN shared how KPN brought IT operations in-house and ended an offshore outsourcing contract. KPN saved tremendous amounts of budget and reduced deployment time from days to hours.
Enterprise IT Transformation: Helping clients compare, consume, and manage IT as a Service via Cloud Brokering. Judith Hurwitz of Hurwitz and Associates showcased how clients leveraged IBM Cloud Brokerage Platform to assess their applications’ readiness for the cloud and its benefits. Once applications were deemed ready for the cloud, companies could purchase the best cloud provider for their workload while consolidating procurement and pricing through a single tool.
I truly hope you will consider sharing your company’s cloud success stories at InterConnect 2017. I’ve heard many speakers comment that they benefit from networking with like-minded individuals at the conference. Additionally, selected speakers may be eligible to receive a full conference pass at no cost.
Please make sure your proposed hybrid cloud management sessions are submitted under the relevant category, “Orchestration” or “Brokerage.” Proposals should include your presentation title and a clear, 100-word abstract that summarizes your proposed discussion.
The November 11, 2016 speaker submission deadline is fast approaching. Submit your proposal today!
