Skip is a Senior Technical Solutions Manager for IBM System Lab Services Migration Factory with over 45 years of worldwide sales, marketing and technology experience. Skip joined IBM in 2003 as part of an acquisition that resulted in the creation of IBM Migration Factory. Since its inception, the Migration Factory’s ability to safely and cost-effectively migrate clients from competitor’s platforms has influenced over $6 billion in Power hardware sales. During Skip’s 14 years in IBM, he has worked on thousands of migration projects including cloud-based migrations, UNIX/Linux and legacy operating systems, custom code migrations, ERP applications, and database migrations and conversions.
