You might want to prepare yourself for this event by reading our Field Guide for Modernization.

If you attend this event, you will be offered to facilitate your journey to cloud. Here, we can propose you a free of charge workload assessment for application modernization, whether your applications are built on IBM WebSphere, Oracle Weblogic or RedHat.

Our IBM experts are using a state of the art tool, IBM Transformation Advisor, to analyze your workloads in an easy way and will provide a report which will allow you to understand which workloads are ready to be modernized, or which additional steps are to be taken for a successful transformation and how much effort these steps would take.

In preparation for the workshop, we ask you to provide some information about your application as it is today so it can be analyzed by IBM Cloud Transformation Advisor (see pre-work in the agenda). Proposed agenda for the “Free Application Modernization Assessment via IBM Cloud Transformation Advisor” workshop.

A workshop to assess a couple of your Java EE applications (for example WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic, Tomcat) and provide recommendations on how to modernize them. This will be done using the IBM Cloud Transformation Advisor.

Pre-work

  • Customer runs the data collector of the IBM Cloud Transformation Advisor and sends the data to IBM
  • IBM analyzes the application and prepares some recommendation

Duration: 4-5 hours.
