Shawn DSouza

Shawn D’Souza is the Global Chief Technology Officer for the Cloud Application Services Business within IBM. This role is responsible for providing overall technology direction to the CAS organization worldwide, which comprises of more than 80,000 consultants globally. Shawn is involved in shaping offerings across the Journey to Cloud imperatives, creating differentiated assets and platforms, and developing the next-generation talent needed to help clients transform. Prior to this role, Shawn was the North American Multi-cloud leader for IBM GBS, responsible for consulting services spanning Cloud Platform Architecture and Cloud Application Development on IBM Cloud, AWS, MS Azure and Google Cloud. Previously, Shawn was the Cloud Leader for Financial Services in North America, and addition, helped establish the Salesforce consulting practice for GBS. Prior to IBM, Shawn served as the Chief Architect and Director, Enterprise Architecture and Software Engineering at Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. Shawn started his career at CSC, and served as the Lead Architect for software products developed for Insurance and Banking. Shawn holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat, India.
