Navigating through disruptions comes with the territory when your job is managing and planning the operations of everything from supply chains and finance, to sales and marketing. But for the small and medium-sized business (SMB), the ability to plan and forecast future performance with a high degree of confidence can be critical.

This week, IBM is rolling out a new version of our Planning Analytics powered by TM1 solution, called Planning Analytics On Demand that’s designed to be easy to purchase (with a credit card via the web), and easy to use (just pull up the On Demand web site and upload your Excel spreadsheets). And with a starting price of USD 45 dollars per month for one authorized user and a single 2GB application database (additional users are USD 40 dollars), it’s meant to be easily affordable, as well.

Planning Analytics has been helping users migrate from manual budgeting and forecasting processes to an automated AI-based process for the past several years. With Planning Analytics, clients can identify meaningful patterns from data, extract insights, and build what-if scenarios to create models that enable them to begin forecasting future outcomes.

We’ve continually updated and enhanced Planning Analytics along its journey to the point where we are delivering a solution that enables clients to leverage the data from their MS Excel spreadsheets to generate dynamic dashboards that help them visualize insights in real-time.

Clients can leverage the software’s natural language processing to capture and analyze the intent of human language data to recommend a way of working that improves the effectiveness of the planning process. Furthermore, automated machine learning capabilities designed to make it easy for clients to create what-if modeling scenarios based on their incoming data, can help users better understand and plan for future outcomes – all without the need of a data scientist.

In addition to the low price point and easy access, Planning Analytics On Demand, which joins the free trial version of the software, as well as the Planning Analytics Enterprise edition, lets clients add new users and applications at any time simply by adding subscriptions.

In addition to all of this, Planning Analytics On Demand features:

  • Built in-tutorials, demos and guided starting points
  • Easy, seamless conversions from trial to paid subscription
  • Ability to easily add users and applications as your business grows

As mentioned, our goal with Planning Analytics On Demand was to create a version to help organizations, especially SMBs, who have relied on traditional, manual spreadsheet processes, realize the power of automation and AI, quickly, easily and affordably. We think we’ve done that. And with this new offering, we hope to bring our plan for anything, be ready for everything philosophy to life for even more businesses.

To get experience the full scope of IBM Planning Analytics On Demand, join us for our webinar on May 20 at 11am EST where we will take a deep dive tour of the new offering, including architecture, full demo, and a chance to ask the experts your questions. Register for the webinar here.

Accelerate your journey to AI.
