Did you know IBM does Aviation Maintenance?
If you are really being honest, you will answer that question in the negative. But, IBM does maintenance/enterprise asset management, Maximo for Aviation is built on the highest rated maintenance/EAM platform in the world – Maximo.
“Maximo solutions are well proven in the industry, as they have had the leading overall market share in their class for the past five years. Specifically, IBM holds the leading market position in the following segments: EAM worldwide and in North America, EAM software revenues and service revenues, EAM for oil and gas, pharmaceutical and biotech, electric power, water and wastewater, automotive, logistics, government and independent maintenance service providers” — Ralph Rio, Research Director, ARC Advisory Group, EAM
IBM has taken Maximo’s 30 years of maintenance/EAM experience and has combined it with IBM’s 50+ years of aerospace experience (Apollo, Space Shuttle, & Sabre) and created Maximo for Aviation. It addresses the need for a highly configurable, easily upgradeable, web built enterprise application for aviation maintenance. Our configurability is a key strength to our solution.
Meeting your requirements
The Tivoli Process Automation Engine allows our customers to tailor the application’s data, processes, screens, and workflow (and more) to meet their individual business requirements without causing future upgrade nightmares. The ease of configuration empowers our customers to make the necessary modifications to meet the ever changing business and regulatory environment. It’s also designed to address the many divisions, sites, and business units; each with their own specific application requirements while maintaining data integrity and centralization.
We are very excited to be at this year’s Aviation Week MRO Americas conference so that we can share our solution for the aviation industry’s operational maintenance needs. This year we have teamed up with our business partner EDI to present Maximo for Aviation, and share our thought leadership on data & cognitive computing. EDI as an IBM Gold Partner has over 20 years of experience specializing in the implementation of Maximo in the aviation industry.
Come and see us at MRO Americas 2017
We will be available on the exhibition floor Tuesday through Thursday for live product presentations and general inquiries. We are also hosting a product briefing on Tuesday at 2:30pm and a conference session on Wednesday at 11 am. On Tuesday we will share how cognitive computing has and is going to continue transforming aviation maintenance.
Watson Analytics has already transformed cancer research and manufacturing; the sky’s the limit for possibilities with Watson in aviation. Then on Wednesday we will tackle the terabytes of aircraft and component data. Data is quickly becoming the greatest untapped asset in the aviation industry today.
We look forward to talking with you about how we are addressing, leveraging, and auctioning all this data. Please join our panel session on Wednesday at 11 am to hear not only from IBM; but from Airbus, Rolls Royce, American Airlines, and UTAS. It will be a great discussion.
With decades of experience, Maximo for Aviation and IBM Watson are changing how the aviation industry manages maintenance. Join us at Aviation Week’s MRO Americas Conference April 25th through April 27th in Orlando, Florida and see what could change in your maintenance operation.
