Top 7 reasons to attend TRIRIGA University 2018

Did you know that we spend 87% of our days in buildings? If you think about that, it seems like a no-brainer that our buildings and spaces must be optimized to operate at peak efficiency and be designed for optimal occupant experience. This is evident when we see that 70% of a building’s costs are tied to operations and that real estate is typically the second highest expense for most organizations. So how do facility managers and real estate executives manage operations and keep costs minimized?

This is what attendees of TRIRIGA University will learn about and plan for.  Since Washington D.C. is home to some of the most famous buildings in the United States, it only seems fitting that we would host a conference all about buildings in a city known for its buildings. In just five short weeks, on November 28-29, TRIRIGA University will be in session! Two days of learning, networking, planning, and sharing with your peers, TRIRIGA experts, IBM leaders, partners, and more. It can’t be missed and I’m going to share just a few reasons why.

1) Learn best practices to overcome challenges in your organization

With speakers from organizations like Airbus, McDonald’s, Southwest Airlines, Lockheed Martin, Social Security Administration, Miami Heat and the Smithsonian, it’s sure to be a great event. Whether your biggest challenges are around improving facility utilization, managing successful events, achieving compliance, accelerating large scale upgrades or optimizing your space management,  – we have clients and partners ready to share their stories.

Take a look at the latest agenda to see what sessions you need to attend!

2) Dive deep into the topics most important to you at TRIRIGA University

The conference curriculum spans five virtual tracks:

  • Client Use Cases and Best Practices
  • Implementation, Deployment, Configuration and Upgrades
  • Lease Accounting, Administration, and Compliance
  • Workplace Experience and Building Innovation
  • TRIRIGA Products and Technology

You can pick and choose from each track based on which areas are most relevant to you.

3) Engage with, and learn from, TRIRIGA leaders and partners

In addition to the conference track curriculum, there will be many opportunities to speak with product experts to deepen your understanding of the capabilities available to achieve greater ROI for your business. The expo area will include an IBM booth where you can find demonstrations from both IBM and business partner subject matter experts. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet with business leaders to get deeper insight into what is possible for your organization.

If you choose to stay an extra day, our business partners will also be hosting training sessions on November 30th. More info to come on these!

4) Explore innovative offerings powered by artificial intelligence

Do you know what the energy hogs are in your enterprise? In addition to the latest advancements in TRIRIGA, we will be showcasing IBM IoT Building Insights. This new solution enables buildings to continually learn, reveal, and predict energy consumption patterns autonomously. This eliminates the need for labor-intensive, after-the-fact analysis. The ROI can yield cost savings, improvements in control, greater occupant comfort and optimal efficiency.

If you haven’t heard about IBM IoT Building Insights, you can get a preview of it in this short demo:

5) Hear from Watson IoT General Manager Kareem Yusuf

It’s time to view spaces in new ways. Connected facilities are unlocking new levels of operational efficiency and optimization. IBM GM Kareem Yusuf, Ph.D will take the main stage to discuss the latest innovations around facilities management – including the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He will answer the question –  how will innovative leaders continue to optimize your buildings, and their facilities operations, with data-driven insights and the power of AI?

6) Attend the Women’s Technology Luncheon with Lisa Seacat DeLuca

Celebrating women in technology is something we are passionate about. With special guest, Lisa Seacat DeLuca, IBM Distinguished Engineer and Director of Offering Management, this is a can’t-miss lunch. Lisa has recently been the voice of the #SheCanStem movement, inspiring young girls to get involved in STEM careers.

7) Learn about the latest developments and the future of TRIRIGA
