Can SAP Enable Employee Transformation?
For the past year, IBM’s Transformation Center of Excellence has been partnering with SAP’s Enablement and Education practice to innovate around elevating human potential. This partnership has been very fruitful—IBM is learning about SAPs new tools and SAP is learning how IBM uses them to help our clients transform their organizations.
At the upcoming SAPPHIRE NOW conference, IBM’s booth has an Experience Zone dedicated to “Elevating the Human Potential.” Our booth area is focused on today’s workforce and how new tools can enable users to work at their true potential. It’s based on the trends that affect our workforce today—and those that will affect the future of work in organizations as well.
Here are a few tools we are bringing to our clients and will highlight at SAPPHIRE NOW:
SuccessFactors: This suite of Cloud solutions provides a way to engage employees to manage their own careers and future. The SuccessFactors suite provides a way for managers and employees to “self manage” tasks and to-do lists. In many respects, individuals can take control of their own careers by utilizing the “self serve” functionality that the system has to offer. Employee Experience is greatly enhanced, and alignment of personal goals to business unit and corporate strategy is greatly improved. IBM’s SuccessFactors practice has differentiated itself by utilizing rapid-deployment tools, and mobile applications, and has 250 global SuccessFactors practitioners, and has completed over 50 successful SuccessFactors implementations.
Personas and Fiori: Aligning employees to SAP just became a lot easier. Fiori provides low-volume users an easy to use experience in some of the most common business transactions. This one-click , mobile access allows employees to do their jobs anytime, anywhere.. a great feature for fiori’s typical managerial users who only need to access SAP for simple, standard transactions (approvals, status updates, etc.) Personas takes customizing the user experience one step farther—tailoring screens for high-volume employees allowing groups of employees to create their own interfaces with the SAP system.
Serious Games: The workforce has changed and learning must change to match the pace to enable employees to use new systems and processes. Just as Millenials are entering the workforce in droves, IBM learning has taken the leap to serious games—a fun and innovative way to teach important skills. We are a world leader in this area and will demo a serious game in our booth at SAPPHIRE NOW and also showcase other best practices in the learning domain.
Enterprise Performance: Measuring how employees sustain their performance is more effective than ever before. Not only does IBM use SAP technology to create Value Realization Dashboards to measure organization performance, we also help clients use Knoa to measure and analyze user engagement and performance on the system.
Meet us at Sapphire in the IBM Booth—we can show you each of these tools that elevate human potential—and more!
