5 reasons to attend a complimentary IBM Mobile Experience Workshop

With mobilized SAP apps, individuals can do things once thought impossible, make decisions in real-time at the point of activity with apps that provide that familiar Apple experience—without a time-consuming learning curve. But where should you start? IBM can help you figure that out with a complimentary one-day Mobile Experience Workshop. Here are 5 reasons why you and other SAP alliance clients should take advantage of this great opportunity.

Reason 1: The workshop is designed for your business
The people in your organization most likely to benefit from mobilizing your SAP applications are not in your IT department, but are in front of clients, in your manufacturing plant, or delivering your products to your customers. The Mobile Experience Workshop helps you identify parts of your business where simple, ready-to-use mobilized SAP applications that can transform business user experience and help your business provide better products and services and potentially reduce costs.

Reason 2: Mobile moments that add the most value are identified
In the Mobile Experience Workshop, IBM specialists provide exercises to understand your business, what your employees do in their roles and opportunities for improvement. Some of the questions we ask you to reflect on are:
• What are your greatest opportunities for improvement or growth?
• What is one key “moment of truth” for your employees, customers and business partners and how is it shared?
• Who are the best at creating that moment and what insight informs their decision?
• How can mobility enhance the moment?
We then work with you to customize a SAP mobilization plan that can meet your company’s specific business needs. The goal is to hone in on where mobilization can add the most value as quickly as possible.

Reason 3: You can design a mobilized SAP app
During the workshop, you can review your business challenges and determine one that is the most painful. An example might be order capture. During the workshop, you and IBM will come up with a mobilized SAP app that can demonstrate to your customers that your company recognizes their challenges and successes, which could encourage more customers to order. Rapid prototyping and app development are part of the process of helping you focus on your SAP mobility roadmap.

Reason 4: You get a template you can use to make your case
The workshop provides you with a template that you can use to optimize a task by taking it mobile. This template can also help you make a business case for mobilizing SAP applications in order to address cost reduction, increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction and interaction or any combination of these.

Reason 5: A trusted advisor guides your way
Since the announcement of the IBM and Apple partnership, IBM has committed to designing 150 business apps for iOS. Combine that commitment with IBM’s experience with providing SAP software services and our alliance with SAP, and you get a trusted advisor whose role does not end when the workshop is over. In fact, IBM can guide you through all phases of mobilization, including pilot projects, proofs of concepts and a roadmap for building your mobile app portfolio.
