84% of Companies Fail at Digital Transformation

Digital TransformationIt’s true, and you can’t afford to be in that 84%. You’ve made digital transformation a priority in 2017, and it’s time to make sure your IT projects are truly transformational. Let’s look at some companies that have taken on digital transformation and succeeded.

JD Williams

A catalogue retailer in an online-shopping world, JD Williams was quick to see the changing marketplace and implement a strategy to win sales on the web. It began with a transformation of purchasing and finance processes, implementing Oracle Financials Cloud and Oracle Procurement Cloud to improve efficiency and thus allow their finance team to focus on value-add activities.

“We’ve improved efficiency, gained reporting flexibility and can scale to support the business as it grows,” said Nicola Mead of JD Williams. “IBM GBS gave us confidence they would deliver a quality solution on time. Despite the program’s challenges, IBM provided the leadership, resources, and commitment to reach go-live.”

Rabobank

Dutch financial services and banking giant Rabobank decided to transform how they interacted with their clients. In the new digital landscape, they recognized a need to tailor customer service and offers at the individual level. With IBM, Rabobank consolidated 50 systems into a single CRM for an instant 360-degree view of customers. The banker was also able to onboard new clients to Rabobank 99% faster.

“It became clear that we needed a more consistent and comprehensive view of our customers. This would allow teams to understand each customer’s unique needs and deliver prompt and personalized service,” said Martin Hagens, Program Manager at Rabobank. “IBM was there from the very start to help us map out our requirements and translate our vision into an architecture.”
