In this – the penultimate in my blog post series – I give an overview of what we are doing to help our customers transform into a Social Business.
We have an integrated set of consultancy and enablement services (shown in Figure 7) as a structured way of helping our clients develop and deliver their Social Business Strategy.

This is supplemented by a comprehensive suite of commercially available software. Examples are listed in Table 8 below.
- Big Data – Management of massive amounts of data in different formats, in different places either at rest or in motion.
- Smarter Analytics – Helping an organization recognize subtle patterns & trends in data to anticipate / shape events and improve outcomes.
- Cognos Consumer Insight – Monitoring and analysis of sentiment as expressed in Social Media.

In addition, our powerful e-Collaboration Suite – IBM Connections
– provides a cross platform vehicle to underpin organizational transformation. The comprehensive, integrated Connections feature set is shown in Figure 9 below.
