Simon Glass is a Managing Consultant in the UK Global Business Services Retail Practice. He has more than 15 years of front line retail experience having worked both as a store manager and at the executive level. Simon's ten years with IBM has seen him work across multiple retail sectors employing his specialist knowledge of: strategic planning & transformational change, omnichannel retailing along the entire value chain, store and central support functions, supply chain, workforce management & optimisation, people development & training, sustainable business practices and CSR. Simon is the Customer Experience Index Study Lead for Europe, he has contributed to many retail thought leadership articles and was the author of the IBM White Paper: Authenticity and advantage in an omnichannel world. Simon has just been appointed as the Retail Lead in IBM's Institute for Business Value.
