MediaPost has a story by Aaron Baar that mentions a recent survey that found nearly 70% of consumers say they are open to brand communications via wearable technology. Even though I don’t see the draw to a smartwatch (yet), is this a new channel for CPG Brands and Retailers to capture? I think the people who use this stuff today would be totally responsive to relevant offers sent to the devices. What do you think?
