Our goal has always been to provide our customers with the tools and insights that help them meet their governance, risk and compliance (GRC) needs, and we do so, by leveraging the innovation of IBM within a single ecosystem. It’s gratifying to see IBM once again positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Risk Management, released on July 3rd for its OpenPages with Watson solution.* Within the Leaders Quadrant, we are positioned furthest in completeness of vision.

Digitalization brings along risks like IT security, Cybersecurity, etc.

In a rapidly changing global financial market, as organizations go through digital transformation in order to stay competitive and accelerate their business strategy, they are also being besieged with and challenged by various risks including IT, cyber, and data security plus privacy and third-party (vendor) risks. Risk Management has become an integral to business operations, due to its impact on the bottom line, for the C-suite executives, like the CISO and CIO, who want to raise awareness on these risks to all employees in their institutions.  When all lines understand that these issues are a fundamental part of everything they do, managing IT, security and other risks become part of their day to day job.

IBM offers businesses the capability to deploy solutions as needed with a scalable, forward-looking architecture that can grow as organizations grow. The customizable platform provides a modular set of solutions for enterprise GRC that support IT risk and security, operational risk management, regulatory compliance management, regulatory change management, policy management, internal audit management, model risk governance, vendor risk management, business continuity management and financial controls management.
