Leigh is an expert in privacy and data protection and leads Promontory’s U.S. privacy practice, advising clients on all aspects of privacy programs, frameworks, and topics, including issues related to emerging topics such as big data, cloud computing, blockchain, digital ethics, and artificial intelligence. He has more than 15 years of experience building and leading privacy and data protection programs within top global financial institutions. Prior to joining Promontory, Leigh led Citigroup’s privacy function and served as co-chair of the bank’s General Data Protection Regulation steering committee. He was previously chief privacy officer at American Express and led Bank of America’s privacy team.
