iTMS Badge Issuer

IBM’s authorized training provider, iTMS, has officially launched a new digital badging initiative, marking a new milestone in the expansion of IBM’s Open Badge Program across the GCG region.

iTMS digital badge offerings are currently available for completion of select IBM Power and z Systems training courses. iTMS plans to expand their digital badge program to additional IBM training offerings throughout 2017.

IBM’s Open Badge digital credentials are recognized, respected and valued globally in the IT industry. Badge credentials are represented by a verified digital image containing rich metadata describing a student’s qualifications and the rigorous criteria necessary to obtain the knowledge and skills represented by the badge.

IBM and iTMS use Pearson’s Acclaim digital badging platform to publish and issue verified IBM Open Badges representing learning, achievement, and contribution outcomes and experiences. Anyone earning a badge issued by IBM or iTMS will receive a notification directly from admin@youracclaim.com with instructions for accepting the badge. Once accepted, the badge earner can fully manage, display, and share their badges across social media to promote their accomplishments and build their personal brand.
