Announcing IBM’s release of the new IBM Mainframe Application Programmer Level I Professional Certificate, the industry’s long-awaited skills benchmark IBM credential for new-hire and early-career IBM Z Mainframe Application Development Programmers!

 

ExitCertified, in collaboration with its sister company Interskill, offers the online Mainframe Application Programmer Learning Path: a low-cost, scalable, globally deliverable Mainframe Application Programmer bootcamp that trains new-hire mainframe programmers and empowers early-career mainframe programmers.

 

Completing this comprehensive 87-hour online learning path benchmarks the IBM-defined skills required by Level I IBM Z Mainframe Application Development Programmers and earns the programmer six IBM Skills Badges and the industry-recognized IBM Mainframe Application Programmer Level I Professional Certificate!

 

This certificate validates that the holder has the following skills:

 

  • A solid foundation in the fundamental concepts, tools, and techniques required for z/OS application programming
  • An understanding of the z/OS operating system architecture and components and their roles in enterprise computing
  • A working knowledge of COBOL, PL/I and Python programming languages
