I’m thrilled to join with other leading Australian technology companies to launch Skill Finder – a new free micro-skills marketplace available to all Australians to help them upskill and reskill to bridge the digital and cyber skills gap.

IBM is deeply committed to helping develop New Collar Skills for the digital economy and so we are delighted to provide over 200 free online courses, via the Skill Finder marketplace, in key areas including cloud, cyber, and AI to help Australians prepare for the new economy that is emerging in part as a result of COVID19.

Our announcement is a further demonstration of IBM’s commitment to developing critical digital skills in Australia. In August IBM launched the IBM Soldier On SkillsBuild Program to help Australians leaving the Defence Force to retrain and transition into tech careers through short, online industry-based training and micro-credentialing courses.

Skill Finder is a great initiative and further information is available here.
