Transform your Digital Workplace at IBM Content 2017

Share this post:

I particularly like this time of year. Longer days, cycle rides past meadows of flowers in full bloom, and the anticipation of IBM Content 2017.  This year we are visiting Minneapolis, New York City and Chicago.  I for one am really looking forward to hearing guest speaker John Mancini, Chief Evangelist at AIIM, share his thoughts about the transition of ECM to Content Services, the Digital Workplace, Content Services for Cloud, Mobile and Analytics.

Most importantly, IBM Content 2017 represents a terrific opportunity for myself and my IBM colleagues to meet and interact with our wonderful ECM customers.  Folks like you who travel near and far (although hopefully not too far) to hear about IBM’s ECM strategy, roadmaps and latest product innovations. In fact, check out this sneak preview on what one of our leading Business Partners, enChoice, will discuss at their session at these events.

This year we are taking a slightly different approach, by adding individual workshop tracks. Rob Constable and I will lead the IBM FileNet Content Manager and Case Manager workshop with help from our product subject matter experts.  Building on the success of our 2016 workshop series, we will provide a deeper dive into the latest product features and capabilities including various options for leveraging the cloud.  We would love to answer your questions, discuss any ECM issues that you may have, and receive your feedback to help shape our product roadmaps.

I look forward to seeing you at the Case and Content workshops. Register here today!

With all the hubbub about whether ECM is “dead,” as Gartner claimed recently, or whether it should be called “Business Content Services” or “Transactional Content Services,” as Forrester insists, or maybe it’s really “Intelligent Information Management,” which is AIIM’s position, the debate about what to call the ECM category underscores the fact that most people […]
