IBM Named a Leader in Gartner MQ for Case Management (Again)

I wrote last month about our latest release of IBM Case Manager 5.3.  The latest release is just another reason why Case Manager is consistently listed as a leader in various analyst reports. While I’m not surprised, I’m pleased to see that yet again that leading analyst firm, Gartner, has recognized IBM Case Manager as a leader in their MQ for BPM-Platform-Based Case Management Frameworks. The report was published back in October, evaluating 13 vendors and their Case Management solutions.

Arrows Leadership Concept on ChalkboardGartner cites IBM’s breadth of functions, partner ecosystem and mature platform as strengths for IBM Case Manager. In addition, our integration of cognitive capabilities like Cognos and Datacap were highlighted as key advantages.  While not everybody, and certainly not all vendors, have fully embraced cognitive capabilities for their content solutions, adding cognitive capabilities to case management solutions improves case outcomes.  Cognitive content solutions provide additional insights that help streamline cases and provide deep insights for knowledge workers to make better decisions and ultimately improving business outcomes.

If you are considering a Case Management solution, then you should take a look at Gartner’s most recent MQ.  It will give you a good idea of the major players and solutions in this space, as well as provide valuable 3rd party insights on both vendors and solutions.
