We are happy to announce the launch of our Domino website, intended as your go-to place for everything you need to know about what’s happening with Domino V10 and the future of the Domino Portfolio.

Domino has always been and will continue to be the essential application platform that businesses use to solve complex problems, and get work done quickly and anywhere by anyone.

Our customers highlight these advantages:
  • Rapid application development—we were there at the beginning of “low-code app dev” space to enable tech savvy business users and IT to get work done faster
  • Enterprise grade platform—secure and scaleable for building workflow and collaboration-centric business processes using the world’s first NoSQL document database
  • Lowest Total Cost of Ownership—proven low administrative overhead and easy integration with enterprise ecosystems such as Microsoft
We told you we were committed to a robust and exciting roadmap.
Together, IBM and HCL—with your input, knowledge and enthusiasm—are going to innovate and invest today, tomorrow and for the foreseeable future to accomplish this.
There are three main themes for the immediate modernization of the Domino future:
  1. We are reducing the overall cost of ownership of Domino,  and making it even more bullet-proof
  2. We are improving our world-class app and mail user experience on mobile devices and the desktop
  3. We are embracing JavaScript with Node.js to open up new possibilities with Domino as a full-stack web platform

This Domino community is huge and passionate.  You helped us create a whole category—whether you call it “interpersonal computing,” “groupware,” or “collaboration”—and you have helped us become a leader in this space. None of this would have been possible without you.

We had thousands of people participate in the 2017/2018 Domino 10 Jams in 23 cities around the world. There was incredible enthusiasm for our February webcast this year (we had 3,000 register for the live event and you asked more than 1,000 questions) and many more joined us for our second webcast in mid-April. As we continue the drumbeat toward the V10 launch later this year, we want you to know that exciting things are in store.

I’m excited to see what we can do and show you what we can do as we continue with our drumbeat toward the future!
