Domino Dominates Vegas!

What a week! At Think 2018, IBM welcomed over 30,000 attendees, ran more than 10,500 lab sessions, and filled a packed Dev Zone each and every day during the five-day conference.

The excitement and buzz around the new unified Collaborations Solutions portfolio—embracing our Domino heritage, targeting workstream collaboration and infusing Watson intelligence into everything we do—could be felt across the campus and in all our sessions.

In Bob Schultz’s keynote, and throughout the first-ever ICS Community Day, more than 400 attendees heard our long-term vision for the portfolio. Our senior product leadership team also shared the direction and the plan for how to get there, and illustrated the new business value that unifying the portfolio will deliver to clients and business partners. This included where Domino will shine through.

The Domino community’s shared enthusiasm was felt in every session, from the small theater and breakout sessions, to client briefings and hands-on labs—all of which were packed-to-the-brim!

From my conversations with clients, business partners and IBM Champions, the roadmap has been universally well-received. The standout part of the V10 roadmap so far has been the IBM Domino Apps on iPad solution. Here’s what Alan Lepofsky had to say about it on his YouTube channel:
