When moving key business services into a cloud environment, it is critical to consider how to manage the availability of those key services. Consider redundancy, workload mobility and application architecture to ensure that when components fail you get the results expected. In addition, it is important to leverage many of the same service management best practices that are usually applied to traditional IT and apply them to the cloud environment.
