Solving the design fidelity conundrum with feedback

Design fidelity thinking loopGetting feedback is a crucial part of the design process for any user experience (UX) designer.

Learning when and how to get feedback is important, as the information you get from someone providing feedback can depend largely on the fidelity of your design.

Part of the IBM Design process is following the “observe, reflect, make” loop as often as possible, and this involves getting as much feedback on the project as possible. Getting feedback early is a good thing, so waiting for your designs to be almost complete doesn’t make sense. However, getting feedback on both early-stage and late-stage designs both have their advantages.
