Case Management is all about getting work done. It’s a smarter approach to work provides knowledge workers with the right information at the right time in order to take the next best action. It’s about applying analytics to understand content in context to make better decisions. And it’s about giving access to the right information whenever and wherever it is needed.
The way we all interact with content to get our work done changes all of the time. That’s why we continue to invest in extending the marketing-leading capabilities of IBM Case Manager. The latest release of IBM Case Manager 5.2.1 Fixpack 4 was announced on April 29, 2016 (available in June) includes a number of enhancements to help case workers be more productive. Building off our last release, we are extending the capabilities around our integration with Box, allowing users to copy Box documents into a case as a P8 document. Among other capabilities, we are also adding a packaging capability in the product that allows case workers to create a package that contains a record of all activity in the case and all documents in the case. This becomes an important record for auditing and compliance purposes.
Because the way we work today often includes mobile, we have made some great updates to IBM Case Manager Mobile. The new release extends the capabilities for remote workers to access content and take action to move the case forward. Workers can now take tasks, cases and documents offline for easy access without connectivity. They can also add new cases or search for cases directly from their mobile device, making field workers even more productive. Users can subscribe to push notifications for case comments, so they can easily monitor the activity on a case and know immediately when important updates are made. These cool new enhancements are available now at Apple iTunes and Google Play stores. Or, try it free for 30 days by signing up for the free trial.
