#TalkCloud SMAC week on Facebook: Let’s talk some SMAC!

Technology shifts and new waves in IT have become game-changers in the way businesses operate. IT change—catalyzed by the mainframes to minicomputers, the PC and the client/server in 1980s and the business disruption caused by the Internet—are all examples of this phenomenon. Today, we face a transformation that is arguably more profound and futuristic: A consumer technology model that is transforming organizations in a significant way. This new IT architecture is called “SMAC,” for Social, Mobile, Analytics and Cloud. SMAC is enabling the creation of hyper-intelligent software platforms that address a myriad business issues.  Businesses must move quickly to embrace the “fifth wave of corporate IT” enabled by the SMAC stack—because competitive advantage, market leadership, and profitable growth are at stake.

Join IBM Cloud and industry analysts in our upcoming #TalkCloud session on SMAC. The chat will progress over four days, so there’s plenty of opportunity to bring all your questions and insights to these sessions!

We’ve invited a panel of experts to help lead the discussion. Here is when we will host the sessions:
