InterConnect 2016: Continuous Performance with Open Source Testing Tools
Open source testing tools have been around for a while. Many of them – such as Apache JMeter, Siege, and Gatling – have strong followings and are trusted by their users. They have important features and strong supportive communities. But these tools were born before words like “Continuous Delivery” and “DevOps” were part of our IT vocabulary, and some important gaps have emerged between how these tools work and how our software delivery processes have evolved. I will address these gaps during my session entitled "Continuous Performance Testing with Open Source Tools" at InterConnect. This post is a brief introduction to the session topic.
