IBM Watson Document Conversion Service is now available!

The IBM Watson Document Conversion Service is a straightforward service with one objective: to convert documents from HTML, PDF, and Microsoft Word formats, into Normalized HTML, Plain Text, or Answer Units JSON that can be used to ingest into other Watson services, such as the Watson Retrieve and Rank Service. SJSU grad students enhance their job prospects with Spark and Bluemix

Keeping up with the skills demand of local startups and enterprise companies requires access to cutting edge resources and expertise. This is why educators like me in computer engineering department have embraced Bluemix cloud and cognitive computing platform as a tool to teach Cloud computing and SaaS and software development in the classroom. For the projects described in this post, all students used publicly available data sets and Apache Spark service in Bluemix to find new patterns and meaning in the data.
