Provided as IBM Cloud services running on OpenStack, IBM Virtual Servers, IBM Object Storage, IBM Block Storage, and IBM VPN provide ease of use in deploying resources within a cloud. Backed by open standards and a strong community, these infrastructure services allow developers to rapidly deploy compute, storage, and network resources, manage resources using non-proprietary OpenStack APIs within a UI or CLI, and easily customize configurations and integrate across multiple clouds, regardless of deployment model.
The IBM Virtual Servers cloud service, powered by OpenStack, is available as a beta on IBM Bluemix. This service, in addition to IBM Containers and Cloud Foundry Runtimes, provide a proven compute option with maximum flexibility and control through an IBM designed experience or community driven, open standard APIs. IBM Virtual Machines will be showcased at InterConnect!
