IBM, Google and Lyft Give Microservices a Ride on the Istio Service Mesh

Today, IBM and Google announced the launch of Istio, an open cloud service that provides a way for developers to seamlessly connect, manage and secure networks of different microservices—regardless of platform, source or vendor.
