We are excited to introduce the Getting Started guides for Watson IoT Platform. These guides demonstrate Watson IoT Platform best practices and help you develop a ready-for-production end-to-end IoT prototype system. The sample code in the guides can be scaled, secured, integrated with systems, fitting right into developers’ devOps development and build processes. Within the guides, there are additional links to task-specific documentations, API docs, client libraries (SDKs), and additional training materials.
The IoT Widget Library allows developers to rapidly build an user interface for their IoT application, processing real time data from the physical and simulated devices. This library, written in HTML 5, can be embedded in major UI frameworks, including Angular JS, React/Redux, Polymer, and HTML 5.
We are committed to provide the best pricing and services on the Watson Internet of Things Platform. Effective from June 1, 2017, we will offer a lower, tiered pricing model that decreases as volumes increase.
The Watson IoT Platform Lite Plan is now offering 500 registered devices, 500 application bindings, and 200MB of each of data exchanged, data analyzed and edge data analyzed free of charge each month.

IBM has partnered with 21Vianet to launch Bluemix in China. This partnership has expanded to provide Watson Internet of Things (IoT) Platform, Blockchain and advanced cloud data services on the IBM Bluemix Platform.
As industries are increasing their IoT adoption, we are introducing a better Watson Internet of Things Platform, and new pricing to make your IoT solutions even more cost effective. Effective September 16, 2016, our new Standard Plan for the Watson IoT Platform will include metrics for Data Exchanged, Data Analyzed, and Edge Data Analyzed. Each of these three services has 100 MB for free every month.
