Deprecating the Decision Optimization Beta service

We’d like to inform you that we are retiring the Decision Optimization Beta service on May 15, 2019.

Here’s what you need to know:

End of Beta Date: May 17, 2019

As of May 17, 2019, new Decision Optimization Beta instances cannot be provisioned. However, existing instances will continue to be supported.

End of Beta Support Date: June 20, 2019

  • For a period of 35 days after the End of Beta Date, through June 20, 2019, all existing instances will continue to be available on the Services dashboard in the Bluemix console. All existing instances will also continue to be supported by Decision Optimization.
  • Any instance still provisioned as of the End of Beta Support Date will be deleted.
  • Please delete your Decision Optimization Beta service instances before the End of Beta Support Date.

DOcplexcloud is another IBM Decision Optimization cloud service that provides much of the functionality of the Decision Optimization Beta service. You can learn more about DOcplexcloud on the Decision Optimization Developer Centre.

As always, we’re here to help! Reach out to us in the support forums or on Twitter.
