UBS Companion: An exploration on human digital assistants

Teaming with IBM and avatar biometrics company FaceMe, UBS is testing the use of human digital assistants to help clients and client advisors. The experimental project, “UBS Companion,” uses two newly developed avatars with client advisors in Wealth Management Switzerland. “Daniel Kalt” is a digital clone of the UBS Regional Chief Investment Officer Switzerland. “Fin” is an animated figure who serves as a friendly helper and digital assistant. The avatars interact with clients and their advisors during video conferences to answer questions and provide financial solutions. Creating a Cloud HA/DR banking environment with multi-zone Kubernetes and API Connect for Virgin Money
