Watson Compare & Comply is now generally available
We’re excited to announce that the Watson Compare & Comply service became generally available on December 6, 2018.
Watson Compare & Comply offers subscribers valuable capabilities to help teams extract data from governing documents and other complex unstructured documents to power business processes. Compare & Comply can help you increase productivity, reduce costs, and minimize exposure. Compare & Comply’s pre-trained services will help you get started quickly. With your feedback, Watson Compare & Comply will always improve and get smarter.
Beyond bringing all of the beta features into this generally available release, we’ve also included support for image file formats and advanced compare functionality.
Important news for Experimental and Beta Users
End of Experimental and Beta service date
As of December 15, 2018, clients will no longer be able to provision new Experimental or Beta instances of Compare & Comply. Existing instances will be supported until the end of the Experimental and Beta support date.
End of Experimental and Beta support date
All support for Experimental and Beta instances will end on January 15, 2019, at which time API call will cease to function and remaining instances will be deleted.
- For a period of 30 days after the End of Beta service date, through January 15, 2019, all existing Beta and Experimental instances of Watson Compare & Comply will be available on the Services dashboard in the IBM Cloud console. All existing instances will also continue to be supported by the Compare & Comply Team.
- API Endpoints will cease to respond after January 15, 2019.
- Any instance still provisioned as of the End of Beta Support Date will be deleted.
- Please provision new production instances and discontinue using your Watson Compare & Comply Experimental and Beta service instances before the End of Beta Support Date in order to avoid service interruptions.

The End of Beta date for the Decision Optimization service is May 17, 2019. The End of Beta Support date is June 20, 2019.
