We’d like to inform you about the deprecation of the SPSS Streams Service functionality. The SPSS Streams Service dashboard is going away, but the functionality will be available in the IBM Watson Machine Learning service’s dashboard. With Watson Machine Learning, you can deploy models while leveraging automated plus collaborative workflows using SPSS, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost and other frameworks.
The SPSS Streams Service functionality will be sunset on May 11, 2018. Here’s what you need to know:
Service Retirement Announce Date: March 6, 2018
End of Marketing Date: April 6, 2018
As of April 6, 2018, new users will not have access to the SPSS Streams Service functionality. However, existing users will continue to be supported.
End of Support Date: May 11, 2018
For a period of 1 month after the End of Marketing Date to May 11, 2018, users with existing access to theSPSS Streams Service functionality can request to continue access via an IBM Cloud support ticket or by clicking the “Request Model Migration” link on the IBM Cloud Watson Machine Learning service’s Launch page.
- Any models that continue to be hosted by the IBM Predictive Analytics functionality as of the End of Support Date will be deleted.
We strongly recommend you to migrate your models from SPSS Streams Service to IBM Watson Machine Learning to access a more secure service with a better user experience.
- Models hosted by the SPSS Streams Service functionality will not be automatically migrated to the Watson Machine Learning functionality.
- Users can request migration of their online SPSS models via an IBM Cloud support ticket or by clicking the “Request Model Migration” link on the IBM Cloud Watson Machine Learning service’s Launch page
- Only models compatible with SPSS 18.1.1 can be migrated to the Watson Machine Learning functionality.
