Watson Machine Learning To Soon Have More Flexible Compute Options

Dear Users of IBM Watson Machine Learning,

Thank you for being a part of our community of valued users! We’ve listened and taken action to provide more flexible compute options for analyzing your data plus training and scoring your models. To support this, we will be releasing new and updated pricing and packaging that delivers more flexible compute options for analyzing your data. To find out more, review this link starting March 1, 2019 for more information about the exciting new plans being released!

As part of these changes, we are retiring the “IBM Watson Machine Learning Service for Bluemix Standard Hour Pay Per Use and IBM Watson Machine Learning Service Professional Hour Pay Per Use” Plans on March 1, 2019.

End of Marketing Date: March 1, 2018
Also as of March 1, 2018 new “IBM Watson Machine Learning Service for Bluemix Standard Hour Pay Per Use and IBM Watson Machine Learning Service Professional Hour Pay Per Use” Plan instances cannot be provisioned. However, existing instances will continue to be supported.

End of Support Date: March 1, 2019
For a period of (365 of days) days after the End of Marketing Date, through March 1, 2019, or until all existing customer contracts have expired or been migrated to a new Plan, all existing instances will continue to be available on the Services dashboard in the Bluemix console. All existing instances will also continue to be supported by IBM Watson Machine Learning Service
· Any instance still provisioned as of the End of Support Date will be deleted.
· Please delete your “IBM Watson Machine Learning Service for Bluemix Standard Hour Pay Per Use and IBM Watson Machine Learning Service Professional Hour Pay Per Use” Plan instances before the End of Support Date.

Any instance still provisioned as of March 1, 2019 will be updated with the new flexible compute options. Please delete your IBM Watson Machine Learning service instances before then if you do not want access to the enhanced flexible compute options.
