Make your life easier with a unified IaaS and PaaS Experience in IBM Cloud

Share this post:

Starting today, we’re offering IBM Cloud subscription customers a more unified IaaS and PaaS experience. Specifically, we’ve consolidated your IaaS and PaaS services into a single, easy to navigate, dashboard. Why are we doing this?

Prior to this change, managing your IaaS and PaaS account may have been challenging due to:

  • Multiple logins
  • Multiple consoles
  • Multiple payment options
  • Multiple catalogs

In response to these challenges, we’re keeping things simple by keeping your choices consistent between your accounts. By unifying the experience, you’ll extract more value with a more convenient way to experience IBM Cloud. For instance, you’ll only receive one invoice and you’ll only have one login to access a more robust PaaS and IaaS catalog.

Unified billing is also easier if you’re looking to use your subscription for both PaaS and IaaS services. If you’re an IaaS-only client, you now have the option to purchase a subscription.

If you have technical support questions, you can submit a single support ticket, which will be routed to the appropriate IaaS or PaaS specialist. You’ll also be able to order IBM Cloud in your local currency as to avoid exchange rate fluctuations.

This is a big step towards simplifying your IBM Cloud account management. Try it out and let us know what you think in the comment section.
