Watson IoT Platform Removing Bronze, Silver and Gold Plans

Share this post:

The Watson IoT Platform Standard and Advanced Security Platform Pricing Plans will carry you forward into the future.  These plans are significantly cheaper than our old Watson Internet of Things (IoT) Platform Bronze, Silver & Gold plans and we will be removing these Bronze, Silver and Gold Plans on March 28, 2018.   If you are currently on these plans, please take three steps (yes only three!) to change to the Standard Plan. The Standard Plan costs only 1/10 of Bronze, Silver and Gold and is optimal for scaling. The Advanced Security Plan offers more sophisticated security settings.

The Bronze, Silver and Gold Plan instances will be permanently deleted after March 28, 2018.

Moving to the Standard Plan is easy. Just follow the three steps.

1. Go the Bluemix Dashboard, and click your IoT Platform service.

2. You will be in the Bluemix IoT Dashboard, and click “Plan”

3. Select “Standard Plan” or “Advanced Security Plan”. Click “Save”. And that’s it!

4. If you have further inquiries, you can go to Support on the upper right corner to find answers or ask questions.
