ASP.NET Core buildpack is Generally Available

In June, we announced the ASP.NET Core buildpack beta in Bluemix. Today we are announcing the availability of the ASP.NET Core buildpack as a Generally Available (GA) runtime in Bluemix.

This buildpack release includes the following features:

  • Uses the latest version of the .NET CLI (currently version 1.0.0-preview2)
  • Supports ASP.NET Core versions 1.0.0 and 1.0.0-rc2-final.
  • Supports .NET Core console applications running on .NET CLI.
  • Supports ASP.NET Core precompile and postcompile scripts in project.json which use Bower and NPM.
