Introducing the Bluemix Mobile dashboard

Share this post:

A few months ago, we announced our new user experience for Bluemix, where we created a new concept called category dashboards. Today, we are launching the Mobile category dashboard on Bluemix, and it just got easier than ever to build your next mobile app. Just select Console > Mobile:

We know that as a developer, you want to spend your time writing code, not setting up services. One of our main goals is to help you focus on building your app and writing your code. We do this by getting the drudgery out of your way as quickly as possible. To that end, we’ve created the Mobile dashboard, where you can create and manage your mobile projects in Bluemix, and access everything that you need for your application, all in one place.

As part of the Bluemix Mobile dashboard, you have the option to use a starter project. Simply pick the starter that best matches what you’re building, and either customize it with our UI Builder, or get the native source code and keep on building.

This is a big step in helping mobile developers enjoy all that Bluemix has to offer, and it’s only the beginning. Over the coming months, we will be adding more to the Bluemix Mobile dashboard to improve it. So head on over to the Bluemix Mobile dashboard and give it a try!
