IBM Mobile Foundation service is now Generally Available!

As of May 23rd IBM Bluemix Container Service now provides a native Kubernetes operations experience while removing the burden of maintaining master nodes. Kubernetes itself is based on the Docker engine for managing software images and instantiating containers. Get the details.

Mobile Foundation The IBM MobileFirst team is excited to announce the General Availability (GA) of IBM Mobile Foundation service, a service that helps you quickly and easily set up your mobile infrastructure in the Cloud, hosting the IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation directly on Bluemix.

What is it?

IBM Mobile Foundation service empowers developers and IT, to easily leverage IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation, which enable enterprises to accelerate delivery of their mobile strategy by helping users reduce the effort, skill, and time required to build apps and thereby control their growing mobile backlog.

What can you do using the service?

With the IBM Mobile Foundation service, you can radically simplify building, managing and updating your mobile app. Developers can build their app using the front-end framework and tools of their choice, and easily add push, authentication, offline sync and business logic to their apps across a wide range of supported mobile platforms. Mobile Foundation service enables you to control your application from client to server, and thus allows you to capture business data at the point of interaction.

What do you get?

This service helps you provision and orchestrate the IBM MobileFirst Platform Foundation on the Cloud. Your mobile servers will be created in Bluemix Containers, and will provide you with a reliable and scalable mobile backend.
