IBM DataWorks General Availability

Share this post:

On February 8th, we’re announcing the general availability of the IBM DataWorks Starter service plan on Bluemix, priced at $2 per activity run. Activity runs that move fewer than 1,000 rows of data to a target will be free.

Your existing free Starter beta plan will be discontinued on March 8, 2016. If you plan to continue using DataWorks, you must switch to either the new paid Starter plan or to one of the subscription plans introduced in December 2015. You can switch to the Starter plan directly through Bluemix from the service instance management screens. To change to a subscription plan, please contact your sales representative or email us.

As a reminder, the new version of the service that launched in December 2015 features an easier to use and improved UI as well as connectivity to additional sources. We will continue adding new features to the service on an on-going basis.
