Kris Lawas, IBM

Kris has over twenty-five years of experience in corporate communications with a background in journalism. She designed and executed IBM’s first massive collaboration event, World Jam 2001, and continues to lead the Jam UI/UE design and event methodologies, along with the delivery of all Innovation Jam engagements. Her Jam work and events have been recognized by the American Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America, Business Week, The New York Times and Financial Times, among others. Kris is the recipient of numerous IBM awards, including a special award by the IBM Chairman’s office recognizing her work on World Jam 2001. She also received a 2014 “Best of IBM” award which recognizes the top 500 employees for their collective achievements.
