There is no better time than now to begin your education series on IBM Journey to Cloud!

There is a common theme around the questions I’ve been hearing lately.

  • What are the plans for cloud?
  • What is IBM’s strategy for cloud?
  • How does IBM plan to meet the changing demands for cloud?

IBM has been thinking about these questions too. If you attended Think 2019, you got a sneak peek at the future of cloud from Ginni Rometty, John Teltsch and Arvind Krishna.

A one-size-fits-all approach may work for t-shirts, but as you probably know that approach does not work for cloud. As more companies continue their cloud journey, they are choosing multiple cloud providers and clouds to best meet their needs.

The IBM Cloud gives your customers more ways to migrate, modernize and build innovative cloud apps—and easily connect them all. The IBM Cloud maximizes your clients’ ability to unlock the value of their data and accelerate their journey to artificial intelligence (AI). It allows your clients to work with all their data in new ways with one unified platform. In addition, the IBM Cloud can help your clients move to the cloud with confidence, backed by a trusted cloud platform with continuous security for applications and hyper-protection of data.

Learn more about your cloud journey

Now is a great opportunity to learn more about the IBM Cloud. I welcome you to join us on the Journey to Cloud with a new education series with the release of the following modules:

The Solution Value module provides information about IBM’s value proposition and competitive advantage. It is designed to give you a foundation to build on for delivering the most compelling and effective solutions to your clients based on their needs and challenges, as well as what stages they are in on their cloud journeys.

The Solution Core module offers information about the technologies and solutions that are incorporated into the IBM Cloud operating model, which are also used across our clients’ environments.

The Solution Build module covers infrastructure, design, configuration, install and administration.

The Solution Deliver module covers app development and portfolio modernization, IBM Garage for Clout Method and cloud native.

Wait! There is more to come!

Over the next few months, we will continue to release new modules in the Journey to Cloud education series. Take a look at what you’ll learn as you invest in your IBM Cloud knowledge.

  • Solution Architecture This module focuses on designing and proposing end-to-end requirements, architecture, delivery and engagement. Expected release: July, 2019.
