See you at Think 2019!

Reading Time: 3 minutes

It’s almost here! Think 2019 is next week in San Francisco. And we want to remind you that the learning and networking starts even before the conference formally begins. We’re talking about Community Day, on Monday, February 11. There’s a full roster of events for Community Day, including the IBM Planning Analytics JAM session.

Join us for a Jam Session!

A groovy time is guaranteed for all at this informative two-part event. Part 1 of the Jam Session looks at the portfolio direction for both IBM Planning Analytics and IBM Cognos Analytics. Part 2 will feature demonstrations by the IBM Offering Management team, panel discussions, and more. You’ll get a deep dive into new product features, plus hear about tips and tricks that will help you do more and get more value from the software you already own.

  • IBM Planning Analytics Jam Session, Part 1
    Monday, 1:00 – 2:00 PM | Session ID: 7350
Moscone Center South, Level 2, Room 213
  • IBM Planning Analytics Jam Session, Part 2
    Monday, 2:00 – 4:00 PM | Session ID: 7353
Moscone Center South, Level 2, Room 213

Community Day ends with a networking reception — and a jam session of a different type — at San Francisco’s Terra Gallery, featuring the music of Soul Ska, “the Bay Area’s premier Ska/Rocksteady collective.”

Learning from your peers

The improvements we continually make to IBM Planning Analytics are driven by many factors, but none is more important than customer feedback. We listen to you carefully through multiple channels, then use what we learn to enhance every aspect of the performance, ease of use, and functionality of the solution.

Throughout Think 2019, you’ll gain real-world insights from customers like Ancestry.com, Uber, Deutsche Bahn, Theravance BioPharma, Jabil Inc., and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Regardless of what industry you’re in, you’re sure to learn valuable lessons from what your peers at these companies are doing.

Upgrading to IBM Planning Analytics? Don’t miss the Hands-on Labs!

If your organization has yet to upgrade from IBM TM1 to IBM Planning Analytics, please remember that support for IBM TM1 ends on September 30. The Hands-on Labs at Think 2019 will give you the chance to experience the transformational capabilities of the new solution. Once you try out the Workspace interface and features like Hierarchies and IBM Planning Analytics for Excel, we think you won’t want to postpone that upgrade any longer.

Up close and personal with IBM experts and industry peers

There’s no substitute for the one-on-one, personal interactions you can only have at a live event. At Think 2019, you can sit down with members of IBM product teams and talk about product direction, best practices, and any issues your organization may be facing. Perhaps best of all, you can take advantage of those daily opportunities for unplanned conversations in the hallway, where you hear about a new way of doing something or gain an insight that you never expected. That simply doesn’t happen on a conference call.

Parting — and welcoming — thoughts on Think 2019

Education, insight, networking, and practical knowledge you can put to use as soon as you get back to the office — you get all of these at Think 2019. There are new things to learn every day, and plenty of fun to be had as well. So, please have a safe trip and thanks again for joining us.

See you in San Francisco!
