Since we released it a few months ago, Cognos Analytics 11.1 has been earning great feedback from customers and analysts alike. Below, we’ll share several resources — an analyst report and webinar, along with two deep-dive product webinars — that will help you understand better how Cognos Analytics is changing BI for all kinds of companies.
Ziff Properties finds new insights with Cognos Analytics
For a great example of this, check out the video below. Ziff Properties operates in commercial real estate — mostly shopping centers. It’s an industry that has traditionally been slow to adopt technology, but Ziff has a very different approach.
The company’s enthusiastic embrace of Cognos Analytics 11.1 reflects a deep commitment to managing its business better and serving its clients better. That commitment, paired with the AI-driven advanced analytics in the software, is paying off as Ziff finds compelling new insights that allow it to make better, faster decisions.
451 Research Analyzes Cognos Analytics in depth
In the recent report “IBM embraces AI for BI in Cognos Analytics,” analyst Krishna Roy of 451 Research gives a thorough overview of Cognos Analytics 11.1, explaining its features and giving context about its place in the market over time. As Roy summarizes:
“IBM Cognos Analytics integrates data preparation, reporting, modeling, self-service analysis, dashboards, stories, event management and now automated predictive analytics into one stack. Moreover, the latest release makes extensive use of AI, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and natural language generation (NLG), in order to automate as many features for the end user as possible, in an effort to make BI, analytics and predictive analysis easy for business users.”
His verdict is that, “development work carried out for over a year has turned Cognos Analytics into a compelling BI and analysis platform that hits all the market requirement and trends, including smart data discovery, augmented analytics and automated predictive analysis.”
Coming up in the first week of March, Roy’s colleague Matt Aslett will join IBM product pro Jason Tavoularis for two sessions that will explore Cognos Analytics in detail. The March 5th session will be held at 11:00 AM Eastern Time for viewers in North America and beyond, while the March 7th session will be held at 10:00 AM GMT / 11:00 AM CET for a European audience. Follow this link to reserve your place in either session.
