IBM Watson Speech to Text and Text to Speech: Pricing update

Effective December 1, 2018, the IBM Watson Speech to Text and Text to Speech services will remove the free tiers from their Standard pricing plans, as follows:

The reason for this update is to have our Standard plan be a paid service only, which will thereby reserve our Lite plan for free access.

Please note that with your Standard plan, you will still have access to all of the features and functionality that you currently have, including our Language and Acoustic model customization capabilities (which are not available in the Lite Plan). To learn more about all of our pricing plans available in IBM Cloud, visit our pricing pages* for Watson Speech to Text and Text to Speech.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact the IBM Watson Speech Services team at spchteam@us.ibm.com.

*The details for our Standard pricing plans will be updated on December 1, 2018.
