We would like to inform you that we are retiring the existing ClearDB DBaaS service on the IBM Cloud catalog on August 31, 2018*

Here’s what you need to know:

In effect, new ClearDB DBaaS Service instances cannot be provisioned. However, existing instances will continue to be supported until the End of Support Date.

End of Support Date: August 31, 2018*

  • Now through August 31, 2018*, all existing ClearDB DBaaS Service instances will continue to be available via the command line.
  • Any ClearDB DBaaS Service instance still provisioned as of the End of Support Date will be deleted.
  • Delete your ClearDB DBaaS Service instances before the End of Support Date.

For any questions or requests please reach out to support@cleardb.com.

*Update: For certain production instances in the US South and London region, we have extended the End of Support Date to September 27, 2018.  If your service instances have been retired on August 31, 2018 and you would like your database backup file, ClearDB will continue to keep backups until November 29, 2018. Please reach out to support@cleardb.com with the connection string used to connect to your database.
