Thank you for using IBM Bluemix Data Connect. We’d like to inform you that we are retiring the IBM Bluemix Data Connect service on March 30, 2018.
Here’s what you need to know:
End of Marketing Date: January 22, 2018
As of January 22, 2018, new IBM Bluemix Data Connect instances cannot be provisioned. However, existing instances will continue to be supported.
End of Support Date: March 30, 2018
- For a period of 67 days days after the End of Marketing Date, through March 30, all existing instances will continue to be available on the Services dashboard in the Bluemix console. All existing instances will also continue to be supported by IBM Bluemix Data Connect during this time.
- Any instance still provisioned as of the End of Support Date will not be accessible through the service in Bluemix.
- Data associated with any instance still provisioned as of the End of Support Date will be retained for 30 days. During that time Data Connect team will work with customers to get access to their data if needed.
- Please delete your IBM Bluemix Data Connect service instances before the End of Support Date.
- Customers will be contacted with details on how to migrate to a replacement service on Watson Data Platform prior to the End of Support Date.
