Visual Recognition API – Similarity Search Update

Share this post:

Since launching the Visual Recognition Similarity Search feature into beta last fall, we’ve been amazed by the diverse and creative ways users have been testing out this feature across industries and use cases. We’ve also been fortunate to receive an outpouring of feedback from our beta testers who have provided us with valuable data points on how the feature performs in the field, and we can’t wait to implement all of the great ideas we’ve heard.

Moving forward, we’re closing the beta period for Similarity Search so that our teams can properly focus on some of the more challenging feature changes. Users will no longer be able to create new collections, and existing collections will function until September 8th, 2017.

Please feel free to send any questions, comments, and feedback you have to kgong@us.ibm.com.
